Deckmaker Pay June // Deck Claim & Deck Drop off [July Release]
Here you can claim your deckmaking pay for June's release!
DECKMAKER PAY BREAKDOWN:
-4 first decks: 2 cards for donation + 1 card for making the deck
-all extra decks: 1 card for each deck (even if the deck maker found images for it)
-every 10 decks: 1 love letter
-special decks: 3 cards for each deck (only Joyce and I make special decks for now)
Please list all the decks you made by deckname and it would be really helpful if you give me the total number of cards you should get! I will confirm it and give you the pay! I'm not sure yet if I will set a pay page on the site, so for now I'll pay in the comments, please bear with it
July Release claims and drop-off guidelines
In this post deckmakers will make their deck claims for the month! For now you can only donate single decks since special decks will be made by Joyce and me.
First off, I have to let all deckmakers know that by the beginning of the month, you have the same amount of deck donations as players: you can claim 4 decks. If we are short on donations or all the decks from donations have been claimed, deckmakers will be allowed to claim/donate more decks, but the pay for those decks will be different.
In this post deckmakers will only claim decks they are planning on donating themselves, not the decks they decide to make for deck donations. Deck donations decks will be claimed by replying to the poster comment.
Additionally, you'll be leaving your finished decks on this same post instead of emailing them to me or PM me. Neither for deck claiming and drop off you will have to fill a form: for claiming I will just need the character name, series name and tentative deckname so I can add it to the upcoming list.
For drop off, I'll just need you to label the link with the deckname.
For deck drop off, you don't have to wait until you have finished all your decks, you can post them as you go.
Please put all the cards (including 00 card) in a folder, include a .txt file with deck information (It doesn't have to have code or any type, just character name, series name, deckname and explanation for deckname, please also include the name of the person who donated the deck, thanks!) and zip your files before sending them to me.
If by any chance you're turning in a batch of decks, it would be a lot easier for me if you zip all the deck folders together and then just list next to your link or in the link the decks included in the zip! Additionally, if you're turning in a batch, it's also easier for me to add them to the system if you have all the decks info in the same .txt file!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it before, but your test deck will also be released in the upcoming deck release! Look forward to it (:
Re: Deck drop off
Awesome, and thank you again!
Re: Deck drop off
I looked at your decks and the image editing is great! but the borders are a bit off in almost all of the decks, not just the ones you fixed. Sorry if I'm being too strict, but while I want to respect everyone's style of deckmaking, I also want the decks to look more of less uniform.
Ok, things we think you need to work on: most decks color border is too light or bright and the text is hard to see. My suggestion is this: if you can't see the little white dots inside the cards, then the border color is too light. If you still want to use those colors, I can't stop you, but just remember that the text might be too hard to read unless the color border is really dark... which takes me to my second point: if the outer border is TOO dark, it contrast a lot with the inner border and I personally think is distracting;;
powered was the perfect example of this, thank god you fixed it XD The new hyper, powered and bedridden are great, but rolling is too light and very hard to read. Also, please check your 00 cards for these 4 decks, they look a little odd. (the text, particularly)
So my last suggestion would be that you work again on the borders, try that all of your decks have borders similar to hyper (outer border color just a tad bit darker than inner border) and if the text is hard to read, then that means inner border should be a bit darker. Believe me, it takes a bit of time to get the hang of this! You have done a great job so far considering you didn't have any experience, so just keep working on this and you'll find the right technique in no time (:
You still have some time, but please turn them in as soon as possible! There's still a very small chance that the release is posted today in the evening (EST) though if it's impossible for you today, we can wait until tomorrow, just let me know!
